Hello, I’m Laura.
I lead user experience research at Google Research, working at the intersection of human-computer interaction and AI — with a particular focus on health. My work spans the design and real-world evaluation of AI-powered health technologies, human-centered approaches to AI in clinical settings, and the equity dimensions of AI: ensuring these systems are built with and for communities that have historically been left out of technology development. I hold a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Northeastern University.
